Not in Love (Not in Love, #1)

Ali Hazelwood

Romance wasn’t a genre I was originally interested in, but after reading a few really good romance books, I decided to dive in a little more. Ali Hazelwood’s writing feels right up my alley—her stories often feature women in STEM, which I love. This book in particular felt quite deep, with layers touching on trust, friendship, upbringing, tech patents, and of course, love. I really enjoyed how the characters developed throughout the story. The only thing I wished for was a bit more of Rue’s inner voice, to balance out how much we got to read of Eli’s.
