Strangers: A Memoir of Marriage

This is such a beautifully written divorce memoir. From a writing perspective, it reminded me of Eat, Pray, Love, and its message also made me think of Untamed by Glennon Doyle. Both books, in my opinion, explore the story of a woman who wasn't living authentically and true to herself within her relationship.

I read this book slowly because I didn't want it to end. Every page was a pleasure to read, but I also felt such deep sympathy and sadness for the author as she went through such a horrific experience.

I know a lot of people point out the immense privilege the author has because of her fame and wealth, and that's certainly true. In fact, the author doesn't deny it; she acknowledges it. Yes, the book is about extremely wealthy people and trust fund babies. However, I don't think that diminishes the impact it can have on other women's lives, particularly when it comes to financial awareness and the message it's trying to convey.

Overall, I think this is a beautiful book. It's a modern feminist memoir with an absorbing writing style that will stay with me for a long time.
